These symptoms are commonly caused by a condition called plantar fasciitis. If plantar fasciitis is left for an extended period of time this can develop into heel spurs. Both of these conditions can be resolved with a variety of different treatment options.
It is important to note that the heel spurring on it’s own does not cause pain. It is the inflammation around the plantar fascia which causes pain.
